Customer Reviews

With this being my first time attending a boxing gym I was nervous at first, but Coach Kyla made it a great experience! She pushes you to your limits and she helps you develop & improve your skills. Will definitely recommend to family and friends!

BoxingRx has been an excellent spot to get fit, work on boxing technique and have some fun. It’s definitely been worth the trip from LA to Glendale for a workout and lesson. Definitely look forward to the transformation Coach Jamie and the other coaches strive to bring about at the gym. I just started and am already seeing results.

I’ve been coming to this gym for over two years at this point and I’ve stuck around because it is a great part of my fitness journey! I especially enjoy Haik’s classes because he’s a trainer that not only focuses on general core needs for exercise, but he makes it fun. He genuinely walks by every single person attending the class and he gives helpful feedback to be able to apply your best skills. I can’t wait for my next class!

How does boxing help with confidence, discipline, and focus?

Boxing is about much more than learning punches — it teaches life skills kids can carry outside the gym.

Confidence: As kids learn new techniques and see themselves improve, they gain a real sense of accomplishment. Stepping into the ring (even in a controlled, non-contact way) gives them the courage to face challenges in school, sports, and everyday life.

Discipline: Boxing requires structure — from wrapping their hands properly to following instructions during drills. Kids learn the importance of showing up on time, respecting their coaches and teammates, and putting consistent effort into their training. These habits naturally build self-discipline.

Focus: In boxing, attention to detail matters. Kids practice drills that require quick thinking, coordination, and concentration. Over time, they develop the ability to stay focused in high-energy situations, which translates into better concentration at school and other activities.

In short, boxing strengthens the body and the mind. Parents often tell us they see improvements not just in fitness, but in behavior, confidence, and motivation outside of class.
